"Answering the Creative Call"

Following the outline described in the “Commencement” chapter of The Creative Call, but tailored specifically for the needs of your group, Janice promises a highly entertaining, inspirational and interactive retreat designed to reawaken the creative energies of everyone in the group.
Attendees will rediscover their God-given areas of creativity and learn how to spend more time developing them as they begin to see creative development as a path to personal and spiritual growth.
"Starting a Writers Critique Group That Works"
Pull together a group of writer friends and meet for a day or a weekend to learn about and practice the Word Weavers method of forming and maintaining an effective, productive writers critique group.
Based on over ten years of experience with the Central Florida writers critique group, Word Weavers, and Janice's book Word Weavers, this retreat will teach attendees every aspect of starting their own critique group. Topics range from "Getting Started" to "How to Run the Meetings" to discussions about how large your group should be. (Presently, Word Weavers Writers Critique Group has over 100 members who meet together once a month to share their successes and needs, then break up into small groups to critique each others' work.)
Many writers have been hurt or misled by poorly designed critique groups. Take the worry out of figuring it out for yourself through trial and error; come and spend a day or a weekend working together with other writers learning how to create your own highly successful writers critique group.
